I've been sick for the past week. Thank God I'm well enough now. Still coughing.

Anyways, a flash of the few weeks passed.

BBQ night was so so. I had to help out with the BBQ again this year considering almost no one in college knows how to BBQ. That's about it.

Now on to worthy stuff, I WATCHED G.I. JOE TODAY!!!

It was just awesome. Aside from the super high tech weaponry, the story was good, progression was good, character development was excellent. I just don't get one part: A super genius scientist in Somalia during a war. What in the world was he doing there?!? I'd give it 8 out of 10. Just too much high tech stuff for me. I should get me one of those accelerate suits.

What a RUSH!

This weekend has been a BLAST! Starting off with Friday, 0807 was owning the field with wins from Captainball to a dramatic Football match to a grand Basketball finale. What a rush of adrenaline! Anyways, we continued to dominate football and eventually won every match. It's disappointing to find quite a number of cohorts without a football team. Walkovers are convenient but not fun.

To even bigger news, Manchester United is in town!!! Even though I got lazy to get the ticket, watching the game at home was equally awesome! Felt the atmosphere all the way at home. ManU was playing to entertain the crowd but Malaysia played like never before. Amri Yahyah scored 2 against MU but all eyes were on Michael Owen.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Yup! That's right. I just came back from watching X-Men Origins. AWESOME movie! Don't wanna spoil anything for anyone so I'll just keep quiet.

Another AWESOME thing happen today. Man United beat Arsenal 1 - 0. I stayed up all night and it paid off. Although Man U dominated the game, it was still exhilarating with much ebb and flow. John O'Shea sealed the game but they could have scored more goals.

Tomorrow is the 1st of May already. Can't wait for Transformers, Terminator: Salvation, Star Trek, Angels and Demons...

Comeback!

My blog's been dead for over a month now. I guess I just got tired and probably ran out of stuff to blog about. I'm thoroughly surprised that people are still visiting my blog and adding me onto their blogroll. I've given thought to remaking my blog but so far my creativity has failed me. Probably due to the crammed and jammed up semester. Well, enough about stressful college life and deadness. Let's move on to LIFE!

Alright! On Sunday, I tried something new. I was sorta invited to the ACTS Church the night before and agreed to tag along. So a few of us got to PBD and they actually sent a van to pick us up from there. We were kinda lost at first but soon we found the place. I mean why would a church be in a shopping mall like Summit? Actually it's in the Summit Hotel. But anyways, we were blur and then people just started welcoming us. And they had a welcoming table, which was never thought of and a really great idea. There was worship and then announcements on ACTSTV and then welcoming. Whoa! The welcoming was just awesome. Something we've been trying to do in Calvary Youth for a long time just erupted naturally within them. Ps Andy was preaching that day and he gave his sermon based on Lazarus. This real life account I guess just applies to me in such an explosive magnitude.

Similarly to my blog here, Lazarus had been dead for 4 days and was brought back to life, but for my blog's case, it has been 6 weeks. And God just reminded me of last year's CY camp scripture, which says:

"Wake up, O sleeper,

rise from the dead,

and Christ will shine on you."

~Ephesians 5:14

Jesus said, "Wake up Lazarus", and he came out of the tomb. The other thing that hit me was last year's camp theme which God tweaked a little for me. "This Is Now" or never. Something to ponder about there. Hope you've been blessed by this little message. Now for something I caught on the way.

It's been a long time since I've updated my blog..a whole month now. I have to admit I'm getting lazy and my blog's dying, the hits are dropping and such. Anyways, I'm not going into long posts to cover up, just something short to fill in the massive gap. Oh well..let's begin with this week. I guess I can call it one of the worst weeks of my life, I don't think anything I've survived so far has actually lasted for a week but I'm fine now. Everyday it seems everything went wrong. This past week I even intentionally skipped class, which is quite bad already given my excuse was more sleep time. Football was so bleak this week that I don't bother thinking about it. Futsal was different though. Enough said about a horrendous week. Moving on with the next. Expecting a great week to come! God Bless!

February the 14th

Yesterday, during CF, I got a flower, a rose to be more precise, from an anonymous person. I gotta say it was a nice, warm feeling but also quite a scary one. I mean what if a guy sent it to me or maybe it was just a prank but still thank you to my anonymous friend out there who gave it to me. Furthermore, it was through a middleman or rather a middlewoman, thus tracking back doesn't work. It was my first time though and I gotta say I'm quite impressed. So you can come out from your hiding now.

For today, Sister Pam gave us all a special Valentine's Day present.

State Of Mind

Dear Blog,

It has been a long time since I last cleaned the dust off your front page. I'm really sorry. I barely come online, what more to write up a flowery post and paste pretty pictures. College has been stealing time. For good reasons I know but way too much I agree. It's going to be a busy semester this time around. Duties to the lecturers, stewardship over my post in the CF committee and responsibilities to the Student Council are keeping up. Easter in April brings two huge projects, in which preparation has already begun. Three nights in the Putra Stadium demands no mistakes and Easter in Methodist College is like none other, bigger and better. Worries of student council nomination just got knocked up a notch, at least I've been set not to take any posts. Something I have a feet on both sides of the fence. These has been boggling my mind these days. The more stuff I see happening, the more I see God's plan unfold. This year is gonna be greater for the glory of God.

College is back on full swing. I can't say that I'm all out for it. The 1st few days of this 2nd sem feels what it feels like..going to college all over again. I thought we had a 2 week break after the exams but they just had to start the classes. Waking up at 6 almost every morning just isn't my thing. Oh well..nothing I can do about it until hopefully Ms Lim changes the timetable in March. Now we have Mr Yee to teach us Chemistry. Given our past lecturer, Mr Yee is doing a fantastic job. On to more less depressing ice cream filled cherry topped chocolate chip sprinkled matters, the 2008 AIM batch went out for Swensen's. It was Andrew's birthday not so long ago and we got together to have sugar mixed with butterfat and flavouring all held together by a lack of heat. 2 giant earthquakes came quaking our way with all 16 flavours. Ah..the first post of 2009. I've been away for quite awhile. I'm sorry I didn't post it up but exams have been a pain for the past 2 weeks. But it is all gone now. Hahaha. Exams are finally over! Will be catching up with the year and wrapping up 2008 soon. It's good to be back.
